The woodcut chase can be regarded as one of the most fruitful partnerships between PortoFabLab and Ateliê Experimental, both labs dedicated to art production in the former Espaço Cultural Porto Seguro. The project revives the concept of the chase used in the printing press, now utilising the potential of mass customisation offered by the laser cutting machine, which enables the creation of numerous combinations for a woodcut.
