Interactive Pavillion Design and Prototype
School of Architecture and Urbanism of University of São Paulo
In collab with Denise Capalbo, João Matos e Rodrigo Waihiwe
The AVA project serves as a prototype for an interactive roofing module, developed during a workshop involving the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at USP, the municipal network of FabLab Livre SP laboratories, and the Interactive Architecture Lab (IAL) at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Students from IAL, under the guidance of artist and educator Ruairi Glynn, instructed Brazilian participants on how to create interactive projects using Arduino. Divided into groups, these participants developed and manufactured their projects with support from the FabLab Livre SP network.
Tools:
Arduino; Rhinoceros+Grasshopper parametric modelling; laser cutting; 3D printing
