Color volume

As in "Parametric Stencil", the creation of an associative system performed a transposition from the luminance of an image. However, this image was of a painting that the participant had just made. The degree of luminance of each color was associated with the pattern of heights, thus creating a topology that could be materialized through the slice strategy in a laser cutter.
